The Rams would like to extend their thanks and congratulations to our four teammates who will be graduating this May. Matt Wentz, Zach Wentz, Matt Doe, and Dennis Wymer are now VCU hockey alumni. Matt Wentz was captain of this year's team and has been an important locker room voice his entire career. Zach Wentz was an assistant captain on this year's team and was one of the people who kept the locker room loose before practices and games. One of the things that will be most missed is their freakish twin sense that allowed them to know exactly where the other one was on the ice at any given time, which resulted in many spectacular passes and goals over their four years. Matt Doe was this year's club president and multimedia guru. Both of the movies on this site were done by him and hopefully he doesn't move too far away so we can use his talent over the next few seasons. Dennis Wymer returned to the team this season after taking a few years off of hockey to concentrate on wrestling. Dennis gave everything he had every time he was on the ice no matter if it was a practice or a game and his attitude contributed to this years "never quit" mentality. We wish all four of them good luck in their future activities and we will sorely miss them in the locker room and on the ice.
