Former ECHL Star Signs on to Coach Rams

Posted on Wednesday, May 20, 2009

The Rams are glad to announce that Former ECHL Star Kevin St. Jacques has signed on to coach the squad for the 2009-2010 season. St. Jacques was drafted in the 6th round, 112nd overall in the 1991 entry draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. After finishing up his Major Junior career where he put up over 500pts in just under 300 games with the Spokane Chiefs and Lethbridge Hurricanes of the WHL, he turned pro in 1992 with the Indianapolis Ice of the IHL. St. Jacques would end up playing 16 professional seasons in various leagues and finished his career with 1000 points. St. Jacques looks to lead the Rams in their quest to not only defend the BRHC league championship, but to lead the club in what they hope to be another strong season resulting in club's first showing in the ACHA South Regionals and possibly the club's second National Championship appearance.
