The Rams' season ended Friday night with a 5-4 loss to ODU in the playoffs. It was an up and down season for the injury-plagued club as the team went 6-8 in league play and 6-11 overall. Although the team struggled on the ice at times the Rams showed what this team is capable of with great games against division opponents ODU, UR and CNU down the stretch. By refusing to give up even when things looked bleak, this group of players showed not only their character and resolve, but also their commitment to one another as a team. Dallas Woods on 1st Line of All-BRHC Team

Congratulations to Dallas Woods on being selected for the first line of the All-BRHC team. Dallas and the rest of the All-BRHC winners will be announced and awarded this Saturday at 1pm at the Hampton IcePlex.

VCU Beats ODU in Overtime 4-3

The VCU Rams finished out their home season with an electrifying overtime win against Old Dominion University Saturday night in Richmond. The Rams struck first with a second period goal from Chris "Bones" Huie, assisted by Chris "Senor" Proctor and Adam "Hank" Schwab. Proctor would go on to score halfway through the second period with an assist from Dallas "Little D" Woods, to put the rams up 2-1. The Monarchs scored 3 times in the second period, leaving the score 3-2 going into the third. The play remained very even throughout the third period. An even strength goal from defenseman Aaron Wiggan assisted by Dallas Woods and Chris Huie evened the score up with less than 7 minutes to play. Ove...
